Will parts of the Middle East become uninhabitable due to Climate Change? Seems so.

This recent nature study based on regional climate models show that the Middle East, and specifically the Gulf coast region, will experience severe temperature increases by the end of this century. In some areas, temperatures will exceed what is considered tolerable, leading to premature deaths and the need to relocate. A reduction of emissions and efforts to keep average temperature increases below 2 degrees (or maybe less?) are crucial for the future of this region, unless you invent body suits with air conditioning.

Read either the Nature paper or one of several news articles about it.
